1 All Charnwood4s league matches to be played on a Thursday night, Charnwood6s league matches to be played on a Monday night with the exception of any rearranged games or unless otherwise stated 2 All matches to commence NO LATER than 8:30pm 3 Any team unable to fulfil a fixture to give opponents AT LEAST 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours notice is given the venue may ask to be reimbursed for food 4 Any rearranged matches to be organised by the two teams concerned and must be played within 14 days of the original fixture. Any matches not played within 14 days will be null and void unless agreed with the organisers. No rearranged matches can be played after the final game of the season. Any rearranged match played after the last league game of the season will be null and void. 5 No unplayed matches may be claimed after the final league match of the season. 6 In the event of a team not showing for a match the opposition will be awarded 7 points in the Charnwood4s League and 8 points in the Charnwood6s League 7 The winning captain is responsible for the result card reaching the organisers NO LATER than 6 days after the match has been played. 8 All matches to be played on a standard board, hung 5' 8" from the centre of the bull to the floor and the throw measured 7' along the floor from a plumb line suspended from the bull, a raised oche shall be used measuring at least 18" long 9 All matchboards shall be in good condition and adequate lighting shall be provided 10 A new players registration form and fees must be in the hands of the league organisers AT LEAST 72 hours before a player is eligible to play. 11 If a player has not been registered and the appropriate fees paid prior to the match (see Rule 10) then the team playing that player will have 4 points deducted and awarded to the opposition up to a maximum 9-0 victory. In the case of a Cup Competition the offending team will forfeit the match. 12 A player may only sign on for one team 13 All games (with the exception of team knock out cups) shall be straight start double finish. Bust rule to apply 14 Home captain to fill in the team selected on the result card then the opposing captain before the match commences 15 Home captain to decide the team to throw first and in all odd legs by the toss of a coin 16 Playing format Charnwood4s matches 4 x singles (one leg of 501) Charnwood6s matches 4 x triples (one leg 801) 6 x singles (best of 3 legs of 501) Team of six (one leg 1001) One point awarded for each game of singles and then one point per leg played thereafter Please note there will be no Premier Division. 17 Winter Knock Out Cup Competition Charnwood4s Team of Four (team games only) best of 5 Legs (1001). Double start and finish bust rule applies. Charnwood6s Team 0f Six (team game only) best of 5 Legs (1001). Double start and finish bust rule applies 18 If any team fails to collect a prize at the presentation evening the prize will be forfeited 19 The league organisers shall adjudicate any matters arising that are not covered
